Our Mission
Officially debuting Fall 2025, our goal was to create a club that allows athletes from Bigfork and beyond to compete and further their training for spring Track & Field. With over 60+ track athletes competing for Bigfork High School every year, it was clear that a track club serving athletes in the summer and winter would be a great addition to the community.

Location
406 Northwest Track Club is located in the vibrant community of Bigfork on the northeast end of Flathead Lake
OUR COACHES

COACH SEETON
Events - Sprints, hurdles, mid-distance
About - Growing up, Coach Seeton ran track and field at Fort Collins High School in Colorado and competed in USATF during both the indoor and outdoor seasons. He attended the University of Wyoming from 2013 to 2018, competing as a decathlete for the first three years. After battling hamstring injuries and undergoing an unsuccessful elbow surgery, he transitioned to the jumps to finish his career. He trained under renowned jumps coach and All-American jumper Quincy Howe before accepting a coaching position at Sheridan High School. During his year coaching the Broncs, the team won state titles in both indoor and outdoor track and field.
Afterward, he moved to Missoula to pursue a master’s degree in English and teach writing at the University of Montana. Later, after taking a job in Bigfork, Montana, he coached hurdles and jumps for the Vikings for three years. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, writing, and traveling. He currently works as an English teacher at Bigfork High School and as an instructor for FVCC in Kalispell.

COACH KIRK

Events - Pole Vault, Long Jump, High Jump
About - Coach Kirk grew up in Billings, MT, where she was a multi-sport athlete. She enjoyed travelling the world playing club soccer, and discovered a passion for track her senior year of high school. She transitioned from a college soccer player to a heptathlete for Montana State University after transferring her sophomore year from Rocky Mountain College. She enjoyed the discipline and accountability the heptathlon had to offer, along with making lifelong friends in the process.
After college, she moved to Helena, MT and began her pole vault journey. She helped coach the vault club she was a member of, and aided both of the high schools when needed. She enjoyed competing unattached at the D1 and NAIA meets, along with USATF certified meets.
Sarah coached the pole vault for the Vikings for 4 years before transitioning to consulting this past year for teams in need of pole vault help. She will be partnering with Columbia Falls this spring in the pole vault.
Events - Hurdles, Throws
A former decathlete at the University of Montana, Coach Brendan won the Big Sky Conference Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 2019. Throughout his athletic career, he developed a deep commitment to discipline, resilience, and performance—principles he now applies to helping others reach their full potential in sport. He has worked with athletes across a wide spectrum of ages and abilities, bringing the same level of enthusiasm and dedication to each individual he coaches.
Beyond athletics, he is a lifelong outdoorsman with a particular passion for bowhunting elk each September. He works full-time as a taxidermist and fly fishing guide, combining craftsmanship, field expertise, and a deep respect for the outdoors into both his profession and way of life.
